ASCA weekly



Dear ASCA users,

Please find tge ASCA observation schedule for the period of
August 19 - 31.

The Japanese Mars mission Planet-B was launched successfully
on July 3 18:30 (UT) from Kagoshima Space Center  and entered
into the orbit to Mars. After the launch, it was re-named as "NOZOMI" 
(the meening is "Hope").

Next week we are having the 32nd COSPAR Scientific Assembly
at Nagoya and many colleagues, including Paul and myself, are
absent from ISAS.
