ROSAT status #141: ROSAT AO-7 proposals

		        ROSAT AO7 Proposal Summary

The USRSDC has received 134 AO7 proposals, requesting a total of 25 Ms.
This is down slightly from AO6, for which we received about 170 
proposals totaling 30 Ms. The median time per request was 100 ks, while 
more than 10 proposals requesting over 500 ks were received.


The A07 proposal review, will be held July 15-17, at the Tyson's Corner, 
VA, Ritz Carlton Hotel. We thank those who have already volunteered to 
participate in the review. If you have volunteered, you will be contacted 
within the next day or two, once we have more carefully assessed what 
expertise will be needed for the review. 

Please note that we have an overabundance of volunteers in some
subject areas, and a dearth in others. We are still seeking volunteers
with expertise on X-ray binaries, supernova remnants, and X-ray
emissions from normal galaxies.
