Dear ASCA users:

I am sending following two things:

1. Summary of discussion of the ASCA Science Working Group meeting 
- March 7, 1994- taken from the minutes editted by M. Itoh and K. Mukai.

2. ASCA Weekly for April 25 to May 6, in which the observation of 
LMC X-4, which was allocated in the previous weekly, is revised by 
about a half of day to get better fit to the requested orbital phase.

Minutes for ASCA Science Working Group meeting - March 7, 1994

Summary of discussion

1. PV publication

Next deadline for the submission of papers to PASJ will be the end 
of April.  Accepted papers will be published in the August issue of 
PASJ.  US team members will attempt to organize a special issue of 
Ap. J. Letters.  The deadline for draft submission for the November 
issue is also the end of April.
Nagase and Inoue will keep track of the analysis and paper drafting 
status.  ASCA team members should notify Inoue when they start 
drafting a paper.
In principle, the page charge should be paid by the top author's
institution.
 
2. PV data archiving

PV data will be archived and released to the public approximately 
18 months after the observation.  Data obtained in April, 1993, will
be released on November 1, 1994.  After that, the PV data will be 
released on a monthly basis. 
 
3. Target of opportunity

The project manager suggested to observe TOOs in the Japan-only
time.  The data belongs to the manager, and he will decide who will
analyze the data including non-Japanese Co-I if there is any.
