SAS Demonstration/Q&A at Washington AAS meeting

There will be a demonstration and general Q&A session on Tuesday
January 8th from 1-4 PM at the Winter AAS meeting in Washington DC in
the State Room.

We may be able to answer specific questions on XMM data analysis if
you are able to bring your data on CD to the session.

New Visions SAS/Calibration Presentations available online

Select presentations on SAS and Calibration issues given at the "New
Visions of the X-Ray Universe in the XMM-Newton and Chandra era"
symposium are now available at the U.S. XMM mirror site at:

XMM-Newton ABC Guide - Version 1.0

The first non-draft version of the XMM ABC Data Analysis Guide is now
available entitled:

AN INTRODUCTION TO XMM-NEWTON DATA ANALYSIS

We are still looking for user input into what is missing, unclear,
incorrect, or even wonderful with this version.

It can be retrieved in html, ps and pdf formats from:
