Two items of note before the proposal deadline.

First:
Remember XMM-Newton proposals are due 12:00:00 Friday 08 October 2004 UT!

This converts to:
21:00:00 Fri Oct 08 2004 Tokyo
14:00:00 Fri Oct 08 2004 Rome
13:00:00 Fri Oct 08 2004 London
08:00:00 Fri Oct 08 2004 Baltimore
07:00:00 Fri Oct 08 2004 Chicago
05:00:00 Fri Oct 08 2004 Los Angeles
02:00:00 Fri Oct 08 2004 Honolulu


Second: 
There was an update of the RGS effective area files in WebPIMMS on
Sept 15, and an update of the PN and MOS area curves on August 26 If
you ran your proposal simulation before those dates, you may want to
recheck your results.

N.B, The extraction radius for the EPIC detectors in PIMMS and
WebPIMMS is now set to 15". The actual full field count rates are ~47%
higher
