ASCA light curve of HT Cas

This folded ASCA eclipse light curve is of the nonmagnetic cataclysmic variable HT Cas. The upper panel shows the data and the best-fit model, the lower panel the residuals. The short transitions to and out of the eclipse indicate that the X-ray emission region is not much larger than the white dwarf primary.
