Can I plot in detector coordinates?

(2/24/94)

PROS 2.0+ permits displays in detector coordinates The format of the display request is

xdisplay filename[key=(s16,s18)][x1:x2,y1:y2]

where the second set of brackets is the standard IRAF image subset definition. Numbers must replace x1, x2, y1, and y2, with the numbers defining the range of the image to be displayed.

In XSELECT detector coordinate images can be plotted by issuing the command

>SET IMAGE DETECTOR
followed by the plotting command

plot image or saoimage
