ROSAT Guest Observer Facility

How is the source analysis list in the standard output to be interpreted?

(7/15/91)

The source analysis list in the standard output must be interpreted cautiously. If the S/N < 10, SASS gives the maximum likelihood estimate of the upper limit to the source intensity. To check, look at the listed rate and the error; if the numbers are equal, the rate is an estimated upper limit.
