What are the contributions to the background?

The following contributions occur in the ROSAT background:

    - scattered solar X-rays:              0 to ~50 counts/sec
    - particle background:                 0.09 to 0.35 counts/sec
    - isotropic soft enhancements (LTEs):  0 to 5 counts/sec
    - auroral X-rays                       0 to ~200 counts/sec
