How were Steve Snowden's instrument maps over the various bandpasses constructed?

Steve's instrument maps were created from the sky-survey data, and are maps of photons over the various channel ranges, over good times (i.e., bad times of high solar background, etc. have been excluded). Bright point sources and bright extended features were excluded, and the particle background contributions subtracted, when creating the files.
