ROSAT Guest Observer Facility

The livetime in one observation is 13K seconds, but the value in the center of the SASS mean exposure map is only 5K seconds. Does this mean that the SASS exposure map is incorrect?

This is one of the early observations. In our experience, values in the FITS headers for early observations sometimes can be wrong. The total exposure time may really be only 5K seconds. One way to check this would be to calculate an exposure map using one of Steve's instrument maps.
