ROSAT Guest Observer Facility

How can I look at the satellite "housekeeping" information?

(2/15/94)

Sites running FTOOLS can simply examine the FITS housekeeping data files with FTOOLS tasks. For example, the file headers can be examined using fdump, file structures can be examined using fstruct and flcol, and time filters can be made using maketime, for screening the events file using fselect.

PROS can read the housekeeping information (via STSDAS.FITSIO.strfits) and plot it (via STSDAS.STPLOT.sgraph). The output of strfits are tables, so any manipulation of the tables is possible using the tables tools package.
