Overview

The ASCAPRSPEC table was created for the purpose of providing a complete, accurate, and easily accessible tracking of ASCA proposal information.

The only data product associated with each entry in this database table is an ASCII file that contains the proposal abstract.

Pinb
The unique number identifying the principle investigator of the ASCA Observation Request.

Prnb
The unique ASCA proposal number.

Type
The proposal type.

Type_Str
Proposal type notes.

Title
The title of the proposal.

Tns
The number of targets in the proposal.

Nat_Tns
The number of targets accepted.

Int_Tns
The number of targets proposed.

Sub_Cat
The subject category to which the proposal belongs.

Sub_Cat_Str
Subject category notes.

Abstract
The complete text of the proposal abstract (up to 800 characters).

AO
The AO phase (cycle) number.
