BurstCube Data Analysis

This page contains links to documents and information on the BurstCube software necessary to calibrate and analyze the BurstCube data. The BurstCube archival data may be analyzed with the HEASoft software package (starting from version 6.36) or the BurstCube Analysis Package bc-tools; in conjunction with the calibration files distributed with CALDB.

NOTE: Until the next HEASoft release, the BurstCube software may be retrieved here: burstcube_software_package.tar.gz. A README file within the tar file will explain how to patch the current version of HEASoft.

NOTE : The BurstCube team has released together with the data a list of caveats related to the data, operations, and time assignment relevant to the data analysis.
