This is the output file generated by sensin [section 3],
and the input file for
pointexp [section 5].
It is a namelist (PEVAL) used to initialize many values in
pointexp . It could be directly modified, for exmaple, if a SunView or
OpenWindows workstation is not available, or if the default
zenith angle cutoff needs to be changed.
The most important variables are:
- EVCLAS
- (integer) the event class (1=A+B+C)
- EXPHST
- (character) a template of the exposure history file name
- CRVAL1
- (real) the RA in degrees
- CRVAL2
- (real) the DEC in degrees
- STRTIM
- (real*8) the start time in truncated julian days
- ENDTIM
- (real*8) the end time in trucated julian days
- NAXIS3
- (integer) the number of energy ranges
- ENERGY(2,10)
- (real) the low (1) and high (2) values of the
energy ranges, in MeV
- SPECIN(10)
- (real) the spectral indices for each range
- ZENMAX(10)
- (real) the zenith angle cutoff in degrees for
each range
