ASCA observation log now available

A preliminary version of the ASCA Observation Log, covering the period:

  1993 April 3 - 1994 April 30
 
is now available via anonymous FTP and WWW.
 
The log, prepared by Mac Itoh at ISAS, is a record of actual ASCA  
observations. As such, it may, in details like exact pointing and 
duration, be different from the planned observations that appear in the 
timelines. In the near future, Mac plans to add the actual good exposure 
time obtained by the GIS. In the meantime, the current log provides a 
useful overview of the as-flown timeline.
 
The FTP version can be obtained anonymously at legacy.gsfc.nasa.gov in
the ASCII file:
 
   asca/timelines/obslog.txt
 
while the WWW version is under "ASCA Mission and Proposal Information" 
on the ASCA GOF WWW home page. The corresponding URL is:
