1) AO-3 Budget Submission Deadline Clarification

The deadline for the submission of AO-3 budgets
is 26 September 2003 at 4:30 PM EST.  There is a
misprint in the "Dear Colleague" letter sent out
on 15 August.  Sorry for any confusion.

2) Discussion Points for the Next Users Group Meeting

The next meeting of the European XMM-Newton Users 
Group will take place later this month at Vilspa,
22-23 September.  As representatives of both the science 
community at large and of US interests, US Mission 
Scientists Richard Mushotzky and Richard Griffiths 
would like to hear from the US community.  Please 
submit any project-related concerns or comments to 
the GOF Helpdesk (xmmhelp@athena.gsfc.nasa.gov).
