HaloSat observations after first year of operations
The first light observation from HaloSat was of the bright Earth on 2018-08-18.
HaloSat detected X-rays from neutral Nitrogen and Oxigen from Earth’s atmosphere, verifying
the spectroscopic performance for all 3 detectors.
