Changes of the data processing released on Dec 30 2016

The third data processing is released with the version 5 for the software and calibration package used to process the data. Here are listed same of the major changes for this third version of the data processing and software and calibration updates.

Description
Attitude Prepipeline: a new version of the attitude with the aberration function corrected for the STT. Document describing the current attitude accuracy are posted at http://heasarc.gsfc.nasa.gov/docs/hitomi/calib/hitomi_caldb_docs.html#Document
SXI Timing and Event treshold Prepipeline: SXI : a) The times of the SXI events have been corrected by an offset of 4 sec. Times now syncronized with the information of the exposure telemetry file. b) Event treshold keywords fixed in the RXJ observations.
Telemetry saturation GTI Prepipeline: The telemetry saturation GTI calculated to exclude time intervals with no science data (all instruments).
Telemetry HXI flares Prepiline: The HXI2 telemetry saturation GTI excludes times with the CdTe pixel (RAWX,RAWY=97,55) show flaring phenomena.
Data gap for G21.5 Prepipeline: The G21.5-0.9 3rd/4th observations (100050030, 100050040) added few orbits missing in previous data releases (all instruments). However the paramaters for the "good" attide screening remove most of these data
Software and Calibration Pipeline: uses the version 5 for the calibration and software
EHK and MKF GTI Pipeline: The intermediate GTIs calculated for the EHK and MKF are now attached to the uf event files.
SXS flagging and screening Pipeline : Apply the proximity flagging for the SXS in the second run of sxsflagpix and update the SXS screening criteria for orbital and events. The orbital screening for elevation, day earth elevation and time after SAA are relaxed so that less time is discarded
SXS sxsperseus Pipeline : Apply the routine sxsperseus only on data taken before 2016-03-04T00:41:00. Previous run applied this routine to data taken before 2016-03-08T00:38:00
SXI Calibration new Gain , CTI, Charge trail and video temperature is included in the data processing and the drop around Silicon edge is removed
SXI grade assignment: The order of the p outermost pixel has been corrected. This mainly effect higher grade distribution.
SXI BACKSCAL A new script available to calculate the BACKSCAL keyword to properly account for the bad pixels.
HXT and SXT telescope A new calibration item, auxiliary transmission, is now available to be included as an option in the calculation of the effective area. This item adjust for the ratio of the ground measuraments with the simulated raytraced of the effective area
SXT and HXT telescope Add a psf rotation in the ray-trancing to implement consistency between the detector and telescope coordinates. This change makes 1% or less difference in the on-axis point source effective area for the SXI and HXI and irrelevant for the SXS when using the total array.
SXT-I and HXI effective area The SXI and HXIs high statistic effective areas, used by ahafgen, is included with this CALDB release. This is already available for the SXS.
HXI calibration new gain , line spread function and quantum efficiency are to be included with this CALDB release. These new cal data togheter with the HXT effective area reduce residuals.
SXS STATUS(4) event Screening the event screening for STATUS(4) that flags the event temporal proximity to any other event in any pixel is not longer applied in the standard screening. This screening is optional as for the rise time and should be applied to the clean event files depending on the source rate.
SXS calibration New gate valve, gain , rmf parameters and line profile is included with this CALDB release.
SXS high energy A new script, sxsexend, allows to extend the event spectrum beyond the canonical values. By default the pipeline calibrate the SXS within the canonical range. The script recalibrate over the larger energy range and screened the data.
