HOW TO FILL OUT A ROSAT OBSERVING PROPOSAL

 

A complete ROSAT proposal includes the cover page, the general form, and the scientific justification; in addition, for every requested pointing a target form must be provided together with a constraint form if the requested observations have further scheduling constraints. All proposals submitted must use the form sheets provided electronically, except for the scientific justification for which separate sheets should be used; for electronic submission of proposals consult your national cover letter. Note that all the information contained in the various form sheets will be entered into a database system. Further note that there are slightly different arrangements for proposal submission in each of the three participating countries; check your national cover letter for details.
