This plot shows the X-ray spectrum of the radio galaxy, Centaurus A, inferred from Suzaku data taken on 2005 Aug 18. It was chosen as among the first targets to be observed with the HXD, because it is a bright hard X-ray source. The red and the blue points are the measurements with the PIN and the GSO elements of the HXD, respectively, using preliminary estimates of the instrument response and background. The black points are from the XIS, which had began scientific observations earlier.
