Launch Window Announced

Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) has announced the new launch window for Astro-E2.

The primary launch window extends from June 26 to July 15, 2005, and if necessary, there is also a backup launch window from July 22 to August 2, 2005. JAXA aims to launch Astro-E2 as early as possible during the first period. Astro-E2 has already arrived at the launch site of Uchinoura Space Center. The launch window during each day extends from 11 am to 1pm Japan Standard Time.

Update on 2005 June 1: It has just been announced that the launch will be no earlier than July 6, 2005. The daily launch window has also been updated to 12:30-13:00 JST.
