ACCOMMODATIONS:
The primary accomodation are dorm rooms located in Conant Hall (walking distance to the center where the classes will be held).

The rooms will be available from Sunday, August 14 to Sunday August 21.

The rooms are all single occupancy.

Harvard Housing Services will provide one linen set and one blanket for each participant. A linen  set includes one (1) pillow, one (1) pillowcase, two (2) sheets, two (2) bath towels and one (1) face  cloth.  They do not provide amenities such as soap, shampoo, robes, hair dryers or  irons.

Linen sets and blankets will be delivered to individual participant rooms prior to the arrival date  indicated above, however, beds will not be made up. At the end of the program, soiled linen  should be left in the individual rooms.

In Conant Hall there is only one bathroom per floor. All bathrooms are single sex only.   Residents and visitors must use the bathroom designated for members of their sex.

In addition, participants will have access to the kitchens and lounges on the floors in which they are housed.

They will be billed at $60 per night (no breakfast provided).

There are only 50 rooms available and the rooms will be assigned on a first come-first served basis.

We will provide an application for housing  to be downloaded and filled for interested participants.
Applications will be due to the Housing Services by July 15, 2005.

On-campus housing may only be requested by  participants who have registered and paid in full for the conference.

Conference and housing  payments must be issued separately.
Participants may pay by credit card (MasterCard or  Visa) or by check in US dollars; drawn on a US bank.
Housing application forms will be processed in the order in which they are received.
All  reservations and changes must be submitted in writing; telephone or on-line requests are not  accepted.

Within one month of applying, guests will receive a written confirmation of accommodations.  Approximately one week prior to arrival, guests will receive an email with the location and  telephone number of their residence hall assignment. This confirmation must be presented to the  check-in staff upon arrival. Housing Services retains the right to refuse entry to guests without proper identification.

The Harvard Housing Services will hold check-in hours at Conant Hall for a 4-hour window on the  evening of Sunday, August 14, 2005 (exact hours to be confirmed).

Check-in is not available on weekends outside of this  window. With advance arrangement, guests arriving on a weekday may check-in at the Housing Services office between 9AM and 5PM, Monday - Friday. The office is located in Lehman Hall in Harvard Yard, a 10-minute walk from the residence halls.

There are plenty restaurants in the vicinity of the place where the classes will be held, and we strongly discourage renting or sharing a car for getting around.  Cambridge is well connected by public transportation and a short taxi ride from Logan Airport.
