The school will run from 9 am to 5 pm every day, which should leave plenty of time to explore the surroundings... Greenbelt is not exactly an exciting place to go out, although Old Greenbelt has an interesting soviet feel to it and will delight people interested in architecture and historical wonders.

Next door to Greenbelt is the capital city of the free world, home of too many museums to count.
You may want to check the Kennedy center or one of the many theaters in the city.

Those of you for whom thinking is only done on a 9 to 5 basis, there are numerous places to chill out after the long days listening to lectures.

There will be a dinner on Tuesday, September 11. We will make reservations at a restaurant. Everyone will be responsible for their own food and drinks. No choice of restaurant has been made yet. Let us know if you have any preference, strong dislike, etc...
