The total enrollement to the school is limited to 40 people. Depending on the demand, we may organize another school next year.

Classes will be 40-45 minutes long with time allocated for questions. Lectures notes will be posted on this website two weeks before the start of the school to allow students to study the material before hand. The notes will be published as a NASA technical report after the completion of the school and sent to every registered participant.

The deadline for registration is July 30. A nominal fee of $100 will be charged to all participant.

For all the details about hotel reservations and location, have a look at the hotel page. The classes will be held in a conference room in Building 1 at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center.
Please note that all students will be required to show a picture ID when entering the Center. In addition, foreign nationals have to get a security clearance and will be required to present their passport or green card when entering the Center. The paperwork for the security clearance should be submitted with the registration (see the school registration page for detail).

If you are interested in attending this program, please send a mail to xrayschool@milkyway.gsfc.nasa.gov indicating
