XTE FITS Formatter (XFF)Mission: XTE.XFF is an XTE GOF subsystem. Lead developer: Dr. Arnold H. Rots Function: format all telemetry data into FITS files. Description: XFF queries the SOF for data available from a list of Application Ids for a given observation, through Data Descriptors. The data are deposited into binary FITS tables, while a hierarchy of ASCII FITS tables keeps track of these various files and serves as a FITS database. |
