HEASARC Staff Scientist Position - Applications are now being accepted for a Staff Scientist with significant experience and interest in the technical aspects of astrophysics research, to work in the High Energy Astrophysics Science Archive Research Center (HEASARC) at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) in Greenbelt, MD. X-ray School Accommodation



We have reserved a number of dorm rooms for the duration of the school. Dorms are located within walking distance of the Physics building where the classes will be held. 

Rooms in the dorm are single rooms. Towels and bed sheets should be provided but there will be no room service of any kind during the week. Bathrooms are shared.

Dorm rooms are to be booked for the whole week (ie 6 nights from Sunday August 5  to Saturday August 11).
We will  put information on the check-in and check-out procedures as they become available.

We are unable to accomodate request for reservations for less than 6 nights ie, you will have to book the room for the week even if you are only planning to be there for less time.

The price is $250 for the week. 

Booking of a room can be made directly at the time of  registration. You will be then be charged for both registration and dorm when you submit the registration form.

Students who wish to do so can also find their own accomodation in  Washington DC.  
You are encouraged to book the dorm early as hotels in Washington DC can be quite expensive.
