The CALLIB Subroutine Library

The source code for all CALLIB subroutine library routines are written in an ANSI-standard language (mainly FORTRAN) and distributed with the FTOOLS software package. (It should be noted that within the FTOOLS distribution, the object library constructed from CALLIB is known as the CALTOOLS library.)

CALLIB was designed to contain mainly calibration-related routines, but has grow to include a large number of more general utilities including reading & writing routines for many OGIP-approved FITS files.

OGIP Calibration memo CAL/SW/93-005 gives further information on the individual CALLIB routines.
