mkfbin

Bin up auxillary filter files


Bins a curve of selected parameters from an Mkfilter output file. 

xsel >  mkfbin <param> [<dtime>] [mkf_name]

If no value of mkf_name is given, then Xselect will look for the mkf file using the standard regular expression for the mission in use. If an event lightcurve has been extracted (using extract curve) then mkfbin will bin up the selected parameters using the same binning as the lightcurve and copy the event RATE column into the output file. In this case the <dtime> argument is not required. 

xsel >  mkfbin "RBM_MON GASX" 120.0

This bins the relevant parameters in 120-sec bins.
