A Brief FTOOLS Tutorial (Host Version)

This section provides an introduction to using the Host version of FTOOLS on a UNIX machine. Except for the difference in path syntax, the VMS version of FTOOLS is nearly identical to UNIX. Users of the IRAF version of FTOOLS should have little trouble getting started if they are already familiar with IRAF since FTOOLS behaves just like any other IRAF package. Novice IRAF users should contact their IRAF system manager for documentation on how to use IRAF.
