Fv: The Interactive FITS File Editor

The latest version is 5.5.2, released April 2020

Due to increased difficulty in maintenance of the FV code and dependencies, we are retiring and discontinuing support of FV in favor of a new utility fviewer, included for testing in our 6.37 Conda packages or installable separately using:

pip install fviewer

HEASoft 6.37 will be the final release of the suite to include FV.
