The Astrophysics Research Knowledgebase (ARK) is a service provided by NASA's High Energy Astrophysics Science Archive Research Center (HEASARC) designed to enable users to submit and store information (in a database) related to the archival data hosted by the HEASARC.

ARK forms the basis for the HEASARC's Remote Proposal System (RPS), supporting a variety of missions. The combination allows investigators to view and modify their proposal information after they submit their proposals (prior to the submission deadline) and upload any associated files that are needed to fulfill electronic proposal submission.

Registration is required to access this service. Users are given permissions to submit records to and/or search specific tables in the database based on their needs.

Please contact our help desk if you need assistance or have any questions, comments, or concerns.
