HEASARC Biblography Search Page


We have compiled a database of bibliography metadata from publications related to the missions in the HEASARC archive listed in the table below. These bibliographies are now all accessible via a single interface at the link above, as well as individual bibliography search pages via links on the mission names below.

These interactive bibliography search pages offer significant advantages over static bibliography lists:

  • user-selected search criteria returns specific papers according to their science mission, science subjects, publication date, title, authors, affiliations, abstract and astronomy keywords, bibcode, obsID, or journal.
  • relevant metadata included with search results, such as number of citations for the paper, links to the ADS, and a list of datasets analyzed, etc.
  • a faster and more efficient method to identify and download the datasets analyzed in the publication.
  • an option to search only for papers using multi-mission datasets.
  • user-selected order for search results and an output format.
  • help pages that describes all of the various search criteria and results.
  • search results that can be used for statistical analysis of a given mission.
