HEASARC Biblographic Code (Bibcode) Status
The HEASARC and a number of the mission GOFs and SSCs have cross-referenced the data sets held in our archive with the peer-reviewed publication data from the ADS. On the ADS results pages, you can find the corresponding reverse links (designated by the letter D) to the appropriate datasets in the data archives (i.e. HEASARC, MAST, etc.). These links take the user directly to a page displaying the data sets used in the publication of that paper. Unfortunately, due to lack of resources, not all missions have been able to perform this type of linking.
Below is the current status of this task in regards to the missions for
which the HEASARC has the bibcode to datset linking information (ASCA,
BeppoSAX, CGRO, EUVE, INTEGRAL, NICER, NuSTAR, ROSAT, RXTE, Suzaku, Swift and XMM-Newton)
N.B.: This process is being conducted on a best effort basis by the HEASARC and the projects. While we believe that the vast majority of these cross-references are correct, there are many sources of confusion and error, especially in some of the larger surveys and review papers.

The HEASARC welcomes your participation in a brief survey to capture how users access and utilize HEASARC data, software, and services. The outcome(s) of this survey will be used to guide, prioritize, and plan our activities and development in the coming years. It contains 18 questions, generally takes just a few minutes to complete, and your answers will remain totally anonymous. We thank you in advance for your valuable feedback.
