Below are the targets for the Performance Verification (PV) phase of the XRISM mission. The PV phase will commence after checkout and calibration and last for approximately six months. Targets with priority "A" are guaranteed to be observed. Due to scheduling constraints, a few "A" priority targets may need to be scheduled after the nominal six month PV phase window. Targets with priority "C" are not guaranteed to be observed, but will be used to fill gaps in the schedule when an "A" target is not available. Priority "C" targets will not be observed after the nominal six month PV window. Here is the link to the HEASARC visibility tool, which now includes XRISM.

Depending on the Resolve Gate Valve situation, the required exposure time is separately indicated for the Open Gate Valve (GVO) and the Closed Gate Valve (GVC).

PV phase data will be proprietary to the XRISM Science Team for a period of 1 year, after which they will be publicly released and archived.
