NICER data will be archived at the HEASARC in the standard high-energy FITS file formats. Supporting software, in the form of FTOOLS, will also be available at the HEASARC. It is anticipated that, approximately 6 months into the mission when a full set of calibration information is available, NICER data delivery to the archive, within a few days of each observation, will begin. Measurements requiring the deepest exposures or longest monitoring will be made public no later than 6 months after the end of the observation. Assuming a launch date in January 2017, the first NICER data will become publically available in September 2017.
