20th Announcement of Opportunity: Deadline approaching
We remind our community that the deadline of the 20th Announcement of
Opportunity is quickly approaching, being the
9th of October 2020 at 12h UT
While we are together in a common effort to minimise any COVID-19
impact, we anticipate that no shift of the deadline is foreseen.
As always, but perhaps more important this year, we encourage all
interested astronomers to benefit from a more responsive system,
proposal data entry environment and personalized support from the SOC
by avoiding leaving the preparation and submission until the last
moment.

ESA Research Fellowship in Space Sciences at ESAC
Postdoctoral fellowships are tenable, among other, in the area of
Astronomy and Astrophysics related to the X-ray observatory XMM-Newton
at its XMM-Newton Science Operations Centre in the European Space
Astronomy Centre (ESAC) located in Villafranca del Castillo, near
Madrid, Spain.
The deadline for applications is
29th of October 2020
ESA's postdoctoral Research Fellowship programme offers young
scientists and engineers the possibility to carry out research in a
variety of disciplines related to space science, space applications or
space technology.
Research Fellowships in Space Science & Exploration specifically offer
the opportunity to contribute to ESA's endeavour to explore our Solar
System and the Universe in the fields of human and robotic exploration,
heliophysics, planetary science, astrophysics and fundamental physics.
