Scheduled Downtime: Important Information

Due to major building renovation work at ESAC, part of the hardware infrastructure will be moved in the week of 15 April 2024.

The move is planned to take place

from 18 April 2024 at 17:30 CEST until 23 April 2024 at 08:30 CEST

 

Affected XMM-Newton services will be all the Web Pages (incluiding the Target of Opportunity Request Tool, the Visibility Checker, the Target Search Tool and the HelpDesk) and the Science Archive (XSA).

While normal XMM-Newton operations will not be interrupted, re-scheduling due e.g. to Targets of Opportunity will not be possible during the downtime.

We expect to have all our services running shortly after the move is complete.
