Recommendation for HEASARC Dataset IdentificationTo help the HEASARC (and readers) identify which particular mission datasets have been analyzed in any paper presenting such results, the HEASARC recommends that the standard observation identifiers for the relevant datasets be explicitly listed in the paper, e.g., the 'seq id' value(s) for an ASCA or ROSAT observation, or the 'obsid' value(s) for an RXTE or XMM-Newton observation. Please contact the HEASARC if you need information about what the recommended observation identifiers for other X-ray and gamma-ray missions are.
