International Comet Explorer (ICE) headed for its encounter with Comet Giacobini-Zinner.
Manuveuring sequence to take ICE from the Sun Earth L1 point to its encounters with Comets Giacobini-Zinner and Halley. Prior to beginning these manuveurs, the satellite had been stationed at the L1 point and had been known as ISEE-3.
