                        RELEASE NOTES FOR HEASOFT 6.11.1

The HEASoft 6.11.1 release is primarily driven by updates to the Suzaku
mission software, but also includes an update to the Ximage utility
which has been revised to mirror the current development version in
use at the HEASARC.

As before, configuration-related changes thoughout the package means that
users who already have HEASoft v6.x.x installed will need to completely
replace their software installation; there is no clean way to simply
overlay this new release or to update an existing installation.

                                    SUZAKU

Version 19 - Changes since HEASoft v6.11:

- aepipeline:

  - Fixed bugs where LIVETIME and EXPOSURE keywords were set to 0 in
    timing/p-sum mode event files, and the TUNIT3 keyword was duplicated
    in HXD event files.

  - Fixed bug when calling ftlist.  Cleaned up string argument for
    extraneous characters.

- xisarfgen (NEW):
  New tool for calculating the XIS arf.

- xisrmfgen:
  Modified for the Psum mode.

- hxdpinxbpi, hxdgsoxbpi, hxdpinxblc hxdgsoxblc:
  Fixed bug when calling ftlist.  Cleaned up string argument for
  extraneous characters.

- Library fix : libaste_hxd:
  Fixed bad CHECKSUM in output file (HXDsclFitsRead).
  Removed stray TIMEDEL keyword from primary extension of output
  lightcurve files (HXDmktrnlc).

- Fixed bug in which WCSAXES* keywords were written after other WCS keywords
